Production Food Runner Job Duties:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Food Runners are the heart and soul of our delivery program, delivering thousands of meals each year to our clients. Being a Food Runner you must..

Provide accurate and timely food delivery to clients on a designated route.

Report missed deliveries (clients not at home) and changes in client status to Distribution Coordinator.

Record weekly hours.

Assist in training new volunteers or subs.

Do not perform any tasks for clients outside of delivering food.

Substitute drivers will be emailed open delivery shifts every week via email.

Respond to email if interested.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Good organizational and communication skills.

Must have a current driver's license and proof of liability insurance.

Ability to follow directions and read maps.

Strict adherence to client confidentiality and professionalism.

General knowledge of the Lifelong food program.

Ability to safely lift 30lbs.

Must be flexible, prompt and reliable.

Must give at least 2 weeks notice for vacation/leave of absence/resignation.
